The Challenge
What InnoCap Was Facing
InnoCap's medication adherence platform had strong clinical backing but suffered from high dropout rates among patients over 60. Contextual interviews and diary studies revealed that the information architecture assumed health literacy levels that most users did not have, and critical reminders were buried behind three layers of navigation.
The Solution
What We Built
We ran a 12-week mixed-methods research programme — combining in-home observation, cognitive walkthroughs, and remote usability testing with 40 patients across two hospital cohorts. The IA was restructured around a "today view" mental model, with progressive disclosure for clinical detail and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance for low-vision users.

Results
Measurable Outcomes
✓68% improvement in 30-day medication adherence among pilot users
✓Task completion rate for dose logging rose from 52% to 91%
✓Accessibility audit passed with zero critical WCAG failures at launch
